The truffle does not spawn until hardmode is activated. Is the house 100% in a surface mushroom biome? If you can clearly hear the biome music, then it is. Are you near any corruption or crimson? I got there, built a small arena, and threw the doll. The guide was killed, but the WoF didn't spawn. Am I missing something?

Hello there; as the title states, I'm having issues with my pet not respawning when I spawn in after dying. These issues only started occuring after I right-clicked the buff when I wanted to clear my screen again after a bit. Ever since then I've been unable to get my pet to auto-spawn - if it's in my inventory I can just use B, but if it's in the pet slot then it doesn't spawn in. Not trying to necro this thread, but --(1) I searched the jungle caves forever in pre-hardmode, never found the temple. (2) Found the temple the instant I defeated Plantera. (3) It was 2/3rds of the way to the surface, compared to the beehive (for the pre-hardmode Queen bee boss), which is 1/3rd of the way to the surface. Makes sense.
