Tibetan Terrier Rescues

The TTCA Rescue program attempts to find homes for Tibetan Terriers that for one reason or another can no longer stay in their previous homes. In an ideal world, there would not be any need for the rescue program, but in the real world, there are occasionally Tibetan Terriers available for adoption from the rescue program.

The Tibetan Terrier Club of Canada is concerned about the welfare of all purebred Tibetan Terriers. Although we are a small club with few members spread out across Canada, we will do whatever we can to help find new homes for Tibetan Terriers who, for one reason or another, can no longer stay in their current homes.

The Tibetan Terrier Association of America established its own rescue program in 2012 for the primary purpose of rescuing Tibetan Terriers at risk in shelters, other rescue organizations or from private owners no longer able to keep their dogs. Independent Tibetan Terrier Rescue do not take ownership of any of the dogs - we simply act as a conduit between the owner placing the dog up for adoption and the potential new home. When a dog is being put into rescue we get as much info as possible from the owner and pass this onto the family looking to rescue a dog.
