Will We Know Our Pets In Heaven
Upon examining the scriptures, we just don’t have biblical support to say with certainty that our pets will be in heaven, even though animals will exist in the Kingdom of heaven (Isaiah 11:6-9). Those animals however, do not appear to be pets, but just part of God’s creation. Pets might be in heaven, but the Bible never directly says this.
Will we know our pets in heaven. 5. Will there be animals in heaven? “Heaven will be a place of perfect happiness for us—and if we need animals around us to make our happiness complete, then you can be sure God will have them. Got Heaven? Got Heaven? Will our pets be in Heaven? This is a common question. Here is what we know for sure. YOU HAVE TO BE IN HEAVEN TO FIND OUT !! ARE YOU ? Are you going to be in Heaven? Billy Graham once said" If your eternal happiness is dependent on your pets being in Heaven, then I'm sure GOD has made a provision for that". That said, I believe that we sometimes allow our pets to become idols in our lives. We rely on them to comfort us when we’re sad and calm us when we’re angry when all the time we should be turning to God. I would never to claim to know what God will do on this issue but I have a hunch we will not have pets in heaven. But I also know that. The question of whether our pets go to heaven requires an examination of the natures of animals, of humans, and of God.. As Christian parents, our children must know we will keep them safe. But.
That is, the life and love of our pets flow out into the animals we will know and love in the age to come. In my case, the cats I have known, loved, and wept over will perhaps find a final home in that lion. One thing I know for sure: nothing that is loved is ever finally lost. It is all just a guess of course. The Bible doesn’t directly address whether our pets will be with us in heaven, but we do know that God loves us and wants us to be happy. The Bible says, “No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly” (Psalm 84:11, NKJV). We can trust God that heaven will be a place filled with everything necessary for our happiness. If you and I are right and our pets are there, that’s going to be awesome and I assume my dog will be successful there in catching bees. If we are wrong and our pets aren’t there, I assume that we won’t notice because part of what will make heaven heavenly is the fact that, as Scripture promises, there will be no more pain, no more sorrow. Upon examining the scriptures we just don’t have biblical support to say this with certainty whether or not our pets will be in heaven, however it does appear that animals will exist in the Kingdom of heaven (Isaiah 11:6-9). If our pets will be resurrected or not, we just cannot say for sure.
Based on the importance God gives to animals, what the Bible says and what I hear the Holy Spirit say, I believe we may expect to see our beloved pets back in heaven. Although they are not created in God’s image, like man, they are very precious to God, who is also their Maker. God will provide us with everything we need to be happy in Heaven -- and if animals are necessary to make us completely happy there, you can be confident He will arrange for them to be with us. What we do not know: We do not know what the new Heaven and new Earth will be like. We do not know if the mention of animals is literal or figurative. We do not know if these animals will be like animals we know or some other type of creature entirely. We do not know if God will “reconsistute” animals we have known in our lives. Answer: Many people believe, upon death, that they will be taken to heaven to be with the ones they loved (friends, family, spouses and so on). The Biblical truth, however, is far greater than what is commonly taught among Christians! According to Revelation 21, which directly mentions heaven, when God's great salvation plan for humans has completed, he will create a new universe and a new.
The pets that we had to say goodbye to are alive in heaven right now in their spiritual bodies and we will see them again if we accept Jesus as our Savior. Your Pet Is Not Gone Forever. I know how hard it is to lose a pet. I've had the pleasure of caring for many pets throughout my life and I am grief stricken every time one of them passes away. Clearly, we do not need pets to provide happiness in Heaven. But pets and such like creatures will be brought to Heaven to become part of our creaturely happiness in the Heavenly kingdom. A loving God, after all, would never just rid us of the love that God reflects to us in our pets. But something to keep in mind is that even if they are not in heaven the same way that we know them in life, it doesn’t matter. God finds a way to give us even more bliss than our pets have given to us. How do we answer children when they ask: “Will I see my dog in heaven?” As I see it, this question is not only an urgent concern for the children. I believe that most adults also have a deep desire to know if, in the next life, we will see our pets and all the other lovely creatures alongside whom we now inhabit this planet.
So, even though our pets will live forever, yet Heaven, as it is now, is not their final destination! And what’s more--it’s not ours, either. As for our souls, however, it is a temporary stop with God on the way to our eternal destination of “Heaven on earth.” It is then, I believe, that we will be with our beloved pets once again. The Bible does not give a definitive answer to the question of whether we will see our pets in heaven, but it does say, "With God, all things are possible." (Matthew 19:26, NIV) Rather than speculate about things that are at present unknowable, we can turn our thoughts toward thanking God for the tremendous gift of joy that our furry friends.
